How monitoring works

Scans, dark web checks, and the Monitoring Hub

Step by step

The narration of the video as text. Select a time to play the video from that step.

  1. AlienGate watches your assets in two ways: vulnerability scans of your websites and servers, and continuous dark web monitoring of your domains. The Monitoring Hub shows both, live.

  2. Live now counts the scans that are running or waiting in the queue, the targets being scanned, and the dark web checks in progress. Running scans appear here as cards you can open.

  3. When you add a website, AlienGate maps its subdomains automatically. Vulnerability scans run when you launch them from the Vulnerability Scanner.

  4. Dark web monitoring lists every watched domain, with its leak count, its last check and its next automatic check. New records usually arrive within minutes.

  5. Check now asks for fresh results for one domain straight away. Manage targets adds or removes domains, within your plan limit.

  6. Whenever something important is found, you get an alert in the app and by email. The next video explains alerts.

Find out what's already out there. It takes about forty seconds.

Run a free exposure check on your domain. If it comes back clean, you've lost a minute. If it doesn't, you've found out before someone else did.
